Montréal-based saxophonist and experimental composer Jason Sharp spent the past year touring in support of his widely celebrated 2018 album Stand Above The Streams, and we’re excited to announce that he’ll be returning to Europe and the UK this spring for a new series of tour dates. Sharp will accompanied by sound artist and frequent collaborator Adam Basanta for all dates. Weaving layers of saxophone, amplified breath and heartbeat connected to an array of electronic treatments, rhythmic triggers and controlled feedback, Sharp and Basanta’s live shows have been lauded for their visceral immediacy and richly textured sonic detail.
